SkillBridge at Crew Logistics.

For the service members in the last 180 days of a uniformed career — and the operators who can carry that forward.

Editorial wide frame: transition from uniformed service.
THE PROGRAM

A path from the uniform to the operations floor.

The DOD SkillBridge program allows transitioning service members to gain civilian work experience through an internship during the final 180 days of service.

At Crew Logistics, the internship typically spans three to four months. Start dates are flexible across the calendar. Every SkillBridge intern receives a midpoint and a final evaluation — and a clear pathway to a full-time offer for the right fit.

The work is real from day one. Mission infrastructure does not have a junior bench.

WHO THIS IS FOR
  • Service members in the last 180 days of active duty
  • Branches: Army · Navy · Air Force · Marines · Space Force · Coast Guard · National Guard
  • Backgrounds: logistics, communications, intelligence, cyber, operations, command-and-control, contracting, force protection, civil affairs, public affairs, medical, technical specialties
  • Officers and enlisted both — the work is calibrated to the operator, not the rank
  • Active-duty status held until the actual transition date (Crew Logistics is the host; the service remains the employer of record during the program)
THE WORK
  • Deployment coordination — routing, screening, and confirming crew assignments
  • Facility vetting — screening properties on proximity, security posture, and suitability
  • Total cost of stay — the measurement discipline behind every placement
  • Billing and reconciliation — pairing roster, check-in, and invoice into a defensible record
  • Federal program support — the operational interface with the CO and the COR

Day one is a contributing day. The mission does not wait for a learning curve.

COMMITMENT 01

Real-world impact.

Every SkillBridge cohort owns at least one production-shipping deliverable. Code merged. Property vetting completed. A federal-customer escalation closed. The system the program is supporting is the same system the federal customer is depending on.

COMMITMENT 02

Path to a full-time role.

Roughly the same review cadence as a full-time offer cycle: midpoint check, final evaluation, fit and performance signal. Operators who clear the bar receive a full-time offer aligned to their interest area and the operational requirements of the business.

COMMITMENT 03

Mentorship grounded in current work.

Every SkillBridge intern is paired with a Crew Logistics operator who has lived a similar transition. Direct guidance. Honest feedback. No corporate-program theater. The mentors carry their own production responsibilities.

NEXT STEP

How to apply.

SkillBridge cohorts are admitted on a rolling basis, calibrated to mission load. Step one: see where we expect to hire. Step two: indicate SkillBridge interest in the application. Step three: a Crew Logistics operator will follow up within one business day.

The uniform comes off.
The mission does not.

Crew Logistics was built around two commitments older than the brand. The first is to the veterans transitioning out of uniformed service — because their leadership, discipline, and command presence belong in the operational world.

The second is to the children facing the hardest start in life, so they grow into the protectors of tomorrow.

SkillBridge is the most direct expression of the first commitment. Every system we build, every facility we vet, every reconciliation we close, is in service of those purposes.
